After-School Kids Club
After-School Kids Club is a FREE and award-winning after-school program for youth between the ages of 8 to 14. Kids Club operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in accordance with the Syracuse City School District calendar. We begin with targeted tutoring where our staff and volunteers from local colleges (including Syracuse University, Le Moyne, and SUNY O.C.C.) work directly with the children to help them achieve their academic goals. We focus on areas of necessity as identified by each youth’s teacher and have achieved a 30% increase in report card scores in the targeted areas. Tutoring is followed by a healthy snack and enrichment-activity choices such as African dance, computer resource center, arts & crafts, cooking, Outdoor Adventure Club, karate, boxing, and so much more.
Please contact Program Coordinator, Matt Stevens, at 315-478-8634 with any inquiries.
